Salazar Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Monday, August 15th , 2050 Jose Salazar, second baseman for the Rhome Rhavioli, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 6-5 victory over the Colorado Springs Generals at Banner Island Ballpark. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Jose Salazar grounded out in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and tripled in the 7th.
