CR's Best Player, Sanchez of Rhome Monday, May 27th , 2052 The top batter in the CBD Rookie League last week was Felix Sanchez, who batted .581 and towered above everybody with a 7-game hitting barrage. During the week Sanchez banged out a .581 batting average (18-for-31), 4 home runs, 11 runs batted in and scored 14 runs. Today the Rhome center fielder received the CR Player of the Week Award. Thus far this year, Sanchez has hit .398 with 5 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
