Galveston Headed to the Postseason Monday, August 31st , 2048 It came down to the wire for the Galveston Gumdrops, but they have clinched a spot in the CBD Rookie League postseason. "We wanted the Division 3 division, but once that wasn't possible, it was tunnel vision to try to get the wild card," said center fielder Bill Ludwig. "We feel we've got as good a chance as any other team now that we're in the playoffs." The team currently sits with a 59-61 record and will be vying for their 4th Round 3 championship. |
