Ruxer Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Tuesday, May 14th , 2052 Dustin Ruxer of the Cork Claws has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 2 hits in today's 6-3 triumph over Nogales at Claws Ballpark. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Ruxer said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Dustin Ruxer singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and walked in a run in the 8th. Thus far this season, Ruxer has hit .366 with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and scored 17 times. |
