Division 3 Champions Crowned Thursday, August 5th , 2049 Let loose, Cork fans, your team has won the Division 3. The Cork Claws have officially captured the crown, the 15th in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said starting pitcher Jake Kriegel. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 73-24 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 8th CBD Rookie League championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Bryce DeMont. "This is what you play for." |
