Anderson Gets 5 Hits
Sunday, August 1st , 2049
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Jacksonville's 9-2 win over Galveston, second baseman Jaden Anderson was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Alligators Stadium.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Anderson said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Jaden Anderson singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Daniel Lobos in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
During the current season Anderson is batting at a .363 clip with 2 home runs and 13 RBIs. He has played in 25 games and scored 14 times.
