Beltran Torches Sea Eagles for 5 Hits Wednesday, July 26th , 2051 No matter what the Sapporo Sea Eagles threw at him, Sergio Beltran hit it. He easily handled Sea Eagles pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Bratwurst triumph, 17-9, at Bratwurst Park. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Beltran's quip, Sea Eagles skipper Steve Thuringer said he "would take him up on that next time." Sergio Beltran hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
