Roberto Figueroa Lost for Season Friday, July 23rd , 2049 Roberto Figueroa will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Grosse Pointe starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Figueroa was injured while throwing a pitch in the Better Mades-Cobras clash at Grosse Pointe Grounds recently. Doctors said he has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 8-9 months. This season, Figueroa has compiled a 3-1 mark with a 3.98 ERA in 12 starts. |
