Sam Metzler Injured, Out for Year Saturday, July 22nd , 2051 Doctors in Euharlee said Sam Metzler might not play anymore this year. The Hammerheads center fielder suffered a torn meniscus during a game against the Can Tho Cobras and will be out for at least 4 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. For the season, Metzler has produced 16 hits in 47 at-bats for a .340 average with no home runs and gotten on base at a .429 clip. |
