Season Ends for Hector Fonseca of Grosse Pointe Sunday, July 16th , 2051 Hector Fonseca will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Grosse Pointe starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Fonseca was injured while throwing a pitch in the Better Mades-Gumdrops clash at Grosse Pointe Grounds recently. Doctors said he has bone chips in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. For the season, Fonseca has logged 4 wins and 4 losses and struck out 37 batters in 74.1 innings while compiling a 4.72 ERA. |
