Red Sox Pitching Ravaged by Brown
Thursday, July 15th , 2049
It was a sensational day at the plate for Jody Brown as he led the charge to a nifty 14-3 win over the Red Sox. The Cork second baseman was pure misery for the Buffalo pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"Brown put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Brian Crunkleton, manager for the Red Sox, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Jody Brown grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
This year, Brown is batting .330 with 3 home runs and 19 RBIs.
