Claws Heading to Round 3 Saturday, September 21st , 2047 The Cork Claws are heading to the Round 3, having narrowly defeated the Melbourne Aces. Cork edged Melbourne in the series 4-3, with a win at Claws Ballpark in the clinching game by a 2-0 margin. Felix Delgadillo turned in a strong offensive performance for the Claws and got series MVP for his efforts. "I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a Round 3 win." It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if Delgadillo continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance. For the series, he hit .421 with a .429 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Cork Claws will play against the Baltimore Sharks in the next round. Baltimore won their series against the Euharlee Hammerheads 4 games to 2.
