Vicente Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Thursday, June 22nd , 2051 Sea Eagles second baseman Lazaro Vicente has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 2-for-4 in today's game against the Long Beach Paradise. Sapporo won the ballgame, 10-4. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Lazaro Vicente singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. So far in 2051 Vicente is batting .456 with 7 home runs, 68 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has 98 hits in 215 at-bats and a .554 OBP. |
