Season Possibly Over for Jimmy Dreher Wednesday, June 23rd , 2049 Jimmy Dreher has to call it a season. The Galveston Gumdrops starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Euharlee Hammerheads and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Dreher was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11 months. This season, Dreher has registered 2 wins and 6 losses in 12 starts with a 5.30 ERA. |
