Zendejas Socks It to Ranas, Cracks 5 Hits Tuesday, June 20th , 2051 Bobby Zendejas put on a hitting clinic at Claws Ballpark, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Pueto Rico pitchers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Cork Claws, who still fell, 14-11. "Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Zendejas told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too." Bobby Zendejas singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
