Moya 5-for-7 Against Generals Saturday, August 22nd , 2048 It was a parade of hits for Ed Moya of the Corpus Christi Beach Boys at Ballpark of Colorado Springs. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Moya finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Beach Boys to a win, 23-5. "Moya was really good and we were really bad," groaned Generals manager Collin Walker. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Ed Moya struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Manny Suero in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jose Acevedo in the 9th.
