Nogales Blanked by Kellner Monday, August 17th , 2048 Before the game, Dave Kellner said he liked his chances. His instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing at Nogales Grounds, the Hooks pitcher blanked the Nogales Nómadas del Sol, 5-0. "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day," Kellner said in the clubhouse afterward. "My control was awesome. I could throw my fastball even when I was behind in the count." The Oklahoma City starter held Nogales scoreless, giving up 5 hits while registering 6 strikeouts and issuing no walks. "We didn't have very many good at-bats," Nómadas del Sol manager Aaron Robinson said in a postgame interview. "When that happens, you usually lose."
