Vermont Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Saturday, September 1st , 2046 It's a "gut-wrenching feeling," Vermont Expos starting pitcher John Tvrdik said, for the team to have gotten so close to a playoff berth, only to be eliminated in the waning days of the season. The club was officially eliminated from the postseason chase today. Before this season, the Expos last missed the playoffs in 2044.
