Can Tho Sits Atop Division 2 Friday, August 14th , 2048 The Can Tho Cobras are champions of the Division 2, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the Round 3," said center fielder Lorenzo Lobato. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Can Tho." The club's record currently sits at 80-25. It is the team's 6th division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 2nd CBD Rookie League championship. Team manager Esteve Varanda said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
