Maldonado Caps Great Week Monday, June 27th , 2050 The Colorado Springs Generals received word today that third baseman Alex Maldonado was selected CBD Rookie League Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Maldonado took full advantage of all 28 plate appearances last week as he hit .560 with 14 hits, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far in 2050 Maldonado is batting .409 with 4 home runs, 32 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 74 hits in 181 at-bats and a .500 OBP. |
