Great Stroke: Hernandez Gets 5 Hits Wednesday, April 24th , 2052 Jacksonville center fielder Marcos Hernandez added his name to the record books with a 5-hit spree at Alligators Stadium, but found his special moment spoiled when the Sapporo Sea Eagles took a shootout win, 15-13, over the Alligators. "I would have much preferred getting only a couple of hits and winning the game," he confessed to reporters afterward. "It's hard to go back into the clubhouse and celebrate a 5-hit game when you also lost." Alligators manager Todd Ward called Hernandez's game "a once-in-a-lifetime moment." "It's a shame the guy can't really enjoy it," the skipper said. "It's also a shame what happened with our pitching, but at least that we can try to fix."
