Saturday, May 14th , 2050
Sheboygan shortstop Adolfo Soutomaior had a big day at Bratwurst Park against the Sapporo Sea Eagles. The 18-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-7 and led to the 22-9 Bratwurst triumph over Sapporo.
"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Soutomaior said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
