20-Game Hitting Streak for Camarillo Monday, June 12th , 2051 Carlos Camarillo, right fielder for the Long Island Ducks, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 8-4 victory over the Galveston Gumdrops at Gumdrops Grounds. "Not the outcome we wanted," Galveston manager Jonathan Bonner said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Carlos Camarillo grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
