Colon Torches Better Mades for 5 Hits Thursday, June 8th , 2051 All game long, Nogales's Jesus Colon was rattling the walls at Grosse Pointe Grounds and banging out base hits against the Grosse Pointe Better Mades. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Nómadas del Sol had a win, 12-8. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 21-year-old center fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Jesus Colon singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
