No Late-Season Magic Coming: Buffalo Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 28th , 2047 The Buffalo Red Sox were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Mark Radford of the Red Sox said it's a tough way to finish out the season. "To be eliminated from playoff contention in the last few games, it's not easy," he said. Buffalo last appeared in the postseason in 2045. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 14 times in their 29-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Red Sox have made the playoffs 6 times. Buffalo has won the Round 3 2 times in their history. |
