Hammerheads Captures Wild Card Tuesday, August 27th , 2047 The Euharlee Hammerheads said they relish the role of underdogs. The Hammerheads have captured a CBD Rookie League wild card position and will be looking to make some noise in the postseason. "I hope teams take us lightly because we didn't win the division -- but I think they know that would be a mistake," said third baseman Tim Leek. "If teams think we're a pushover, we've got a surprise for them." When the playoffs begin, Euharlee will be looking for its 3rd Round 3 title. |
