Vicente Selected CR Player of the Week Monday, June 5th , 2051 When it came to hitting the baseball, Lazaro Vicente was in a class by himself in the CBD Rookie League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding second baseman for Sapporo tagged opposing pitchers for a .577 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 15 hits in 26 at-bats, 1 homers, 10 runs scored and 15 RBIs. So far this season, Vicente is hitting .451 with 6 home runs. |
