Hitting Streak Still Alive for Gallegos Friday, June 11th , 2049 Cesar Gallegos of the Rhome Rhavioli tagged 1 hit in today's 12-4 loss to the Nogales Nómadas del Sol at Banner Island Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Cesar Gallegos walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd and singled in the 4th. Gallegos currently has a .365 batting average with 65 hits, 3 homers, 18 RBIs, 32 runs scored and a .413 OBP. |
