Euharlee Stops Moats Hit Streak Wednesday, May 24th , 2051 The 22-game hitting streak is over. Sapporo Sea Eagles center fielder Adam Moats failed to get a hit against the Euharlee Hammerheads and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 22-year-old went 0-for-4 in his club's 8-1 victory over the Hammerheads at Euharlee Fields. "I think I only made it to 22 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." This year, Moats is batting .465 with 47 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 20 times and has batted in 19 runs. |
