Ramos 5-for-6 for Euharlee
Monday, August 12th , 2047
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Euharlee's Jose Ramos made it happen against the Expos. Everything came together at the plate for the 20-year-old second baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Hammerheads triumph, 6-3, at Expos Grounds.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Ramos said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
Jose Ramos singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Torres in the 7th, flied out in the 8th, walked in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
This season, Ramos has hit at a .280 clip and produced 26 RBI, 6 home runs and 37 runs.
