CR's Top Player, Vespa of Rhome Monday, July 29th , 2047 Brian Vespa made quite a splash in the CBD Rookie League this past week. The Rhome Rhavioli second baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 13 hits in 25 at-bats to roll up a .520 batting average and the CBD Rookie League Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 1 home run, 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. So far this season, Vespa is batting .362 with 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 58 hits in 160 at-bats, 25 walks and a .461 OBP. Vespa has played in 43 games. |
