Long Beach's Reinert Sidelined for Season Wednesday, May 3rd , 2051 Nick Reinert of the Paradise just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old Long Beach shortstop received a possible season-ending injury against the Colorado Springs Generals recently at Paradise Ballpark. Reinert suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament while running the bases. The Paradise medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 9-10 months. In the 2051 season Reinert is hitting .261 with no home runs. |
