Nómadas del Sol Smith Smacks 5 Hits Saturday, May 10th , 2053 It was nearly a perfect day for Jalen Smith at Ducks Ballpark. Although the Nogales Nómadas del Sol second baseman was sensational at the plate, collecting 5 base hits in 6 at-bats, it just wasn't enough to keep the Nómadas del Sol from falling to the Long Island Ducks. Long Island spoiled his great day at the plate by winning the game, 12-10. Jalen Smith singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. Thus far this year, Smith is hitting .359 with 1 home run, 22 RBIs and 13 runs scored. View Boxscore |
