Euharlee Devastated by Playoff Elimination Tuesday, September 3rd , 2041 Members of the Euharlee Hammerheads sat in stunned silence in their clubhouse, adjusting to the knowledge that they had lost their chance for a playoff berth this year. "We really thought we had the team to get into the playoffs," said starting pitcher Matt Stauffer. The Hammerheads have made the playoffs 9 times in their 17 years as a CBD Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2039. In the last 10 seasons, the Hammerheads have made the playoffs 8 times.
