Ducks Carlos Aguilera Down and Out for Year
Friday, July 5th , 2047
When Long Island closer Carlos Aguilera was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Ducks-Beach Boys game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Aguilera had sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for about 9-10 months.
In 27 relief appearances this season, Aguilera has chalked up 11 saves with 32 strikeouts in 33 innings, 3-2 won-lost mark and a 1.91 earned run average.
