Peterson Gone for Season in Buffalo Thursday, July 4th , 2047 John Peterson of the Red Sox just might have to call it quits for the season. The 21-year-old Buffalo center fielder received a possible season-ending injury against the Vermont Expos recently at Expos Grounds. Peterson suffered a concussion while colliding with a player at a base. The Red Sox medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. So far this season, Peterson is batting .300 with no home runs, 2 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 12 hits in 40 at-bats, 2 walks and a .333 OBP. Peterson has played in 14 games. |
