Gumdrops Starter Wins CR Pitching Award Monday, July 1st , 2047 When Ron Kramer takes the hill, chances are good for a Galveston victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 4-1 mark and 1.55 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 46.1 innings, fanned 39 and held others clubs to a .263 average. That's why the Gumdrops star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the CBD Rookie League. Thus far this season, Kramer has posted a 4-1 record, started 6 games, struck out 39 batters in 46.1 innings and compiled a 1.55 ERA. |
