Super Swinger -- Griffin Slams 5 Hits Wednesday, April 27th , 2050 Eric Griffin put on a hitting clinic at Ranas Ballpark, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Pueto Rico pitchers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Rhome Rhavioli, who still fell, 9-8. "Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Griffin told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too."
