Jacksonville Stops Kilbride Hit Streak Sunday, May 31st , 2048 Cork Claws shortstop Braydon Kilbride finally met his Waterloo. A 21-game hitting spree is now history after Kilbride was unable to make anything happen in 2 at-bats today against the Jacksonville Alligators. Fortunately for Kilbride and the Claws, the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game, 12-8. "We're a true team here," he said. "For 21 games I've been able to contribute, but I always believed these guys would take care of things if I couldn't some day." A look at his season totals shows Kilbride with 2 home runs, .407 BA, .491 OBP, 49 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
