Sea Eagles Cruise to Round 3 with Sweep Sunday, September 15th , 2052 The Cork Claws were simply overmatched by the Sapporo Sea Eagles in the Round 2. The end result was a sweep, as Sapporo has cruised to the Round 3, with the final win coming at Claws Ballpark by a score of 10-7. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Steve Elbaum, who was named MVP of the Round 2. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Elbaum hit .684 with a .750 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 15 RBI and scored 9 runs. The Sapporo Sea Eagles don't know who they will face in the next round.
