Long Beach Moves on to Round 2 Sunday, September 8th , 2052 Fans at Nogales Grounds saw the Round 1 come to a close today, as the Long Beach Paradise defeated the Nogales Nómadas del Sol by a score of 15-7, and advanced to the Round 2. Long Beach won the series 4-1 and will now continue their march toward the Round 3. "It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said shortstop Nick Reinert, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far." The Long Beach Paradise don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Long Island Ducks - Pueto Rico Ranas series.
