Colorado Springs Loses Dan McVicker Sunday, August 18th , 2052 Dan McVicker has to call it a season. The Colorado Springs Generals reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Euharlee Hammerheads and will not play again this year according to club doctors. McVicker was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 7-8 months. For the season, his stats show McVicker has no saves in 12 relief appearances with a 1-1 record and 1.98 ERA. |
