Hit Streak for Brown Reaches 20 Tuesday, August 13th , 2052 Tony Brown of the Oklahoma City Hooks extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 1-0 triumph over the Grosse Pointe Better Mades at Hooks Ballpark. "Tony has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Hooks manager Kevin Furse joked after the game. Tony Brown grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and walked in the 8th. So far this season, Brown has recorded a .343 batting average with 34 hits, 6 home runs, 14 RBIs, 25 runs scored and a .425 OBP. |
