Bottorff Bashes 5 Base Hits Thursday, August 1st , 2052 Billy Bottorff really sizzled at the plate in his team's 21-9 win over the Can Tho Cobras. The Pueto Rico right fielder blistered Can Tho for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. "Bottorff was too tough to get out today," the Cobras skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Billy Bottorff hit a three-run home run off Joey Davis in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
