CBD Rookie League Announces July's Best Batter Thursday, August 1st , 2052 Chris Riggins is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Cork right fielder joined that select company when the CBD Rookie League announced the results of July's voting. Riggins totaled 40 hits, 25 walks, 7 home runs, 32 RBIs and 27 runs scored last month to put together a .506 batting average and .630 on-base percentage. Riggins is batting at a .506 pace this season, picking up 40 hits in 79 at-bats with 7 home runs, 32 RBIs and 27 runs scored. |
