Burley Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Wednesday, July 31st , 2052 With 1 hit at Can Tho Park, Greg Burley added another game to his hitting streak -- the Can Tho shortstop has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Cobras, as they fell, 14-4, to the Pueto Rico Ranas. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Pueto Rico manager Monte Benevidez said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Greg Burley flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a sac fly in the 8th.
