Roadrunners Win Round 1 Monday, September 20th , 2049 The Albuquerque Roadrunners are off to the Round 2 after an exciting Round 1 triumph. Albuquerque downed the Arlington Trappers, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 6-1 win tonight at Trappers Ballpark wrapping up the series 4-3. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Miguel Villareal, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Villareal put up a .296 with a .296 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 4 home runs, drove in 10 runs and scored 5 runs himself. The Albuquerque Roadrunners will play against the Moscow Mules in the next round. Moscow won their series against the Schenectady Grasshoppers 4 games to 2.
