Da Nang Advances to Round 2 Monday, September 20th , 2049 The fans in Da Nang are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in Killarney. The Da Nang Dolphins finished off the Killarney Lakes 6-2 in the deciding game of the Round 1 played at Da Nang Field. They took the series 4-3 and will now head to the Round 2. For his standout play, Da Nang center fielder Phil Richards was voted the series' Most Valuable Player. He batted .433, drove in 4 runs and scored 6 to lead his club to victory. "We could never really figure out how to pitch to Richards and that doomed us," said Lakes manager Matt Butler. "Hats off to Da Nang, though. That was a great series." The Da Nang Dolphins don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes - Houston Orange Kings series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece.
