Dingos Win Round 1 Thursday, September 14th , 2051 Scott Pruitt has led his Baxter Dingos to a Round 1 victory. Baxter's second baseman was named series MVP after playing an instrumental role in winning the series 4-1 and eliminating the Sarasota Supernovas. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "It's simple what I did this series." The club advanced to the Round 2 with a 2-1 triumph at Dingos Ballpark in the deciding game. Pruitt was red hot in the series, which saw him put up a .533 average, as well as 0 home runs and 4 RBI. The Baxter Dingos don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Qubec City Poutine - Albuquerque Roadrunners series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
