Saturday, September 4th , 2049
Doctors in Traverse City said Dermott Cross might not play anymore this year. The Cherries reliever suffered shoulder inflammation during a game against the Concord Blue Devils and will be out for at least 6 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
To this point in the season, Cross has put up these figures: 0-1 record, 16 relief appearances with 13.2 innings, 4 saves, 8 strikeouts, 4 walks and a 3.95 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .333 batting average.
