Loons End Cole Streak Saturday, September 4th , 2049 Jeff Cole's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 21 games, as the Moscow Mules dropped their contest with the Great Lakes Loons, 6-5, at Galaxy Ballpark. Cole failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Cole spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. In 55 games this year, Cole has posted a .339 average and put up these numbers: 7 home runs, 34 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |
